LED display common five signal meaning

During the installation and use of LED display screens, different signals always appear. This is equivalent to the unique language of LED display screens. LED display signal transmission problems occur from time to time. What do these signals mean? If at a major event, the LED display suddenly becomes garbled due to signal problems, the impact will be irreparable. If you can figure out these signals, then it is easier to read your LED display. Here are some specific signals in the following LED display. There are mainly the following:

1. CLK Clock Signal: The shift pulse provided to the shift register. Each pulse will cause the data to shift in or out one bit. The data on the data port must coordinate with the clock signal to transmit data normally. The frequency of the data signal must be 1/2 times the frequency of the clock signal. In any case, when the clock signal is abnormal, the whole board will be disorganized.

2. STB latch signal: The data in the shift register is sent to the latch, and its data content is displayed by the drive circuit lit LED. However, since the driver circuit is controlled by the EN enable signal, its lighting must be enabled before it is turned on. The latched signal also needs to coordinate with the clock signal to display the complete image. In any case, when the latch signal is abnormal, the whole board will be disorganized.

3. EN enable signal: The whole screen brightness control signal is also used for display blanking. Just adjust its duty cycle to control the brightness changes. When an error occurs in the enable signal, the entire screen will appear dark, dark, or trailing.

4. Data Signal: Provides the data needed to display the image. Must coordinate with the clock signal to transmit data to any display point. Generally, the red, green and blue data signals are separated in the display. If a data signal is shorted to the positive or negative polarity, the corresponding color will appear bright or not lit. When the data signal is suspended, the corresponding color is displayed. The situation is uncertain.

5. ABCD line signal: only exists in the dynamic scan display, ABCD is actually a binary number, A is the lowest bit, if the binary representation ABCD signal control the maximum range is 16 lines, 1/4 scan as long as the AB signal on it , because the representation of the AB signal is 4 lines. When the line control signal is abnormal, the display of misalignment, highlighting, or image overlap will occur.
